Presidents Message
It’s my great pleasure to welcome you to Goway’s world of globetrotting, joining us as we continue the journey we started in 1970. Back then, Goway Travel was a one-man operation in a small apartment in Toronto, specializing in ‘fun holidays for the under the 30s.’ Today, we employ over 400 staff on three continents, who bring expertise from around the world. Some of our ‘under the 30s’ have grown with us into seasoned globetrotters, and we’ve picked up many adventurous passengers along the way.
We’ve also met our fair share of challenges from world events outside our control, including the COVID-19 pandemic, which reminded us what a great privilege it is to explore the world first-hand. Yet, after all these challenges, we are still here, still each of us ready to experience another part of the world and connect with those who call it home. For globetrotters, who’ve chosen a life of travel, that connection across borders is crucial. Personally speaking, I’m thrilled by each opportunity to get back out there and reconnect with old friends and new faces.
