Itinerary

Day 1. Arrive Sydney.

You will be met and transferred by private car to your amazingly located Stay of Distinction. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 2. Sydney Sightseeing.

Experience the beauty of Sydney on a guided walking tour around the historic Rocks, Circular Quay, the Opera House and Botanical Gardens. Travel by 4WD to Watson's Bay for a picnic lunch of Doyle's famous fish and chips. After lunch enjoy a yacht cruise around Sydney Harbour. L

Day 3. Sydney to the Blue Mountains.

Travel to Blue Mountains National Park and experience some of Australia's most breathtaking scenery including the spectacular Three Sisters. Stop for a barbeque lunch with wine, before continuing to Lilianfels. Lilianfels. BL

Day 4. Blue Mountains to Hunter Valley.

A leisurely start sees you on your way through the quaint old townships of Leura and Wentworth Falls. Cross the river by vehicular ferry and travel along the Great Old North Road to the village of St Albans home to Australia's oldest pub. After lunch continue to the Hunter Valley. Visit some boutique vineyards well off the beaten tourist track before arriving at your luxury lodge. The Tower Lodge. B

Day 5. Hunter Valley to Sydney.

This morning at leisure. At noon visit the nearby cheese factory to sample some of the local dairy produce. Continue through the valley and return to Sydney crossing the mighty Hawkesbury River and the magnificent Harbour Bridge.

Day 6. Sydney to Cairns.

Transfer by private car this morning to the airport for your flight to Cairns. On arrival you will be met and transferred by private car to your deluxe hotel. The rest of the day is free to enjoy this beautiful tropical paradise.

Day 7. Cairns to Lizard Island.

This morning transfer to the airport for your flight to your Stay of Distinction on the Great Barrier Reef. Lizard Island offers spectacular diving and snorkelling as well as beach picnics, bush walking, sailing, fishing and spa treatments. All meals and many island activities are included in the price.

Lizard Island (3 nights)

Day 8. Lizard Island.

A day free to enjoy paradise. Discover secluded, pristine beaches by foot or by motorized dinghy. Take along a gourmet picnic just for two. Try a gentle bushwalk, sailing, fishing or a glass bottom boat trip or perhaps indulge in a treatment at the luxurious Pavilion Spa. BLD

Day 9. Lizard Island.

Another day free to enjoy this wonderful island, just relax or try one of the many activities on offer. BLD

Day 10. Lizard Island to Cairns and onward.

Leave your tropical island this morning and return to Cairns for your onward flight. B
