Day 1. Adelaide to Barossa Valley
Arrive in Adelaide and collect your rental vehicle. Today takes you to South Australia's premier wine growing region of the Barossa Valley. Overnight accommodation: The Hermitage of Marananga in a luxury spa suite with breakfast.
Day 2. Barossa Valley
Day at leisure to explore the beautiful Barossa Valley. Perhaps a Barossa Valley Balloon Flight tempts you or choose from around 50 wineries - the brown and white roadside signs will advise you in advance of where the wineries are. Overnight accommodation: The Hermitage of Marananga in a luxury spa suite with breakfast.
Day 3. Barossa Valley
Another day at leisure to continue exploring the Barossa Valley. You may like to choose a quiet riverside park, or head into the ranges for a view. Alternatively, you may like to try some of the local restaurants specializing in local produce and wines. Overnight accommodation: The Hermitage of Marananga in a luxury spa suite with breakfast.
Day 4. Barossa Valley to McLaren Vale
Journey south today to the McLaren Vale region but a quick stop at Hahndorf in the Adelaide Hills is a must. Overnight accommodation: St Francis Winery Resort.
Day 5. McLaren Vale
A full day at leisure to enjoy around the McLaren Vale. McLaren Vale is now on the world wine map, the focal point (along with McLaren Flat) for a network of 50 wineries - some grand and of historic importance others new boutique wineries - whose products have been internationally acclaimed and consumed. Overnight accommodation: St Francis Winery Resort.
Day 6. McLaren Vale to Adelaide
Depart McLaren Vale today and head back to Adelaide and drop off your rental vehicle.
