Brisbane to Cairns service

Access Queensland's favourite holiday destinations in speed and comfort aboard Australia's most modern & innovative train, the Tilt Train. Travelling between Brisbane and Cairns, the Tilt Train offers a comfortable and relaxing way for guests to experience Queensland. With in seat dining and personal entertainment systems throughout, the Tilt Train is sure to provide a pleasant and relaxed journey.

Only cash (AUD $), Visa and MasterCard credit cards are accepted onboard. Personal and travellers cheques are not accepted and EFTPOS is not available. Guests are advised to bring cash for the journey to buy drinks and meals if they do not hold any of these cards.

Brisbane to Rockhampton service

Running between Brisbane and Rockhampton, the Tilt Train can connect you with holiday destinations and major centres throughout South East and Central Queensland, such as the Fraser Coast and Gladstone the access point to Heron Island. State-of-the-art facilities and quality catering will ensure your journey is a memorable one, while frequent services provide total flexibility.

Rockhampton Tilt Train - Northbound Timetable

Departs BRISBANE to Rockhampton from Sunday to Friday at 11.00am and arrives in Rockhampton at 6.25pm the same day.

Rockhampton Tilt Train - Southbound Timetable

Departs ROCKHAMPTON to Brisbane daily at 7.15am and arrives in Brisbane at 2.40pm the same day.

Cairns Tilt Train - Northbound Timetable

 • Departs BRISBANE to Cairns on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 6.25pm and arrives in Cairns at 6.20pm the next day.

Cairns Tilt Train - Southbound Timetable

 • Departs CAIRNS to Brisbane on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday at 9.15am and arrives in Brisbane at 9.35am the next day.
