Goway's exclusive Central and South America division specializes only in planning itineraries and organizing experiences in Latin America and Antarctica. For eight years commencing in the 1970s, Goway buses travelled on 3-month journeys from Bogota, Colombia, down the Andean spine to Chile, across into Argentina and up to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. So technically, the launch of our 2010 Latin America brochure was a re-launch of our product to Central and South America!
Goway’s Central American programs are as diverse as our travellers. The Central America product ranges from eco-friendly tourism in Costa Rica, historic Panama, the Mayan cultures of Honduras, Belizean adventures and indigenous Guatemala. Although a small geographic region, Central America has an incredible amount of diversity; from the white-sand beaches and offshore reefs to lush mountains and 16th-century colonial towns overshadowed by volcanoes, and ancient Mayan pyramids hidden in dense jungle.
For South America, there is an abundance of products, carefully researched and negotiated to ensure great value for your clients. Iconic journeys to the Galapagos, Machu Picchu, the Amazon and the Antarctic are just a few of the experiences that we offer. For adventurous travellers, our expert staff may recommend a journey to Patagonia and the Torres del Paine staying in unique Eco Domes. Travellers in search of excitement are drawn each year to Carnival in Rio, but often include time to cruise the Amazon, trek through the jungle, or view IguassuFalls from the Brazilian or Argentinean side. The full complement of countries offered in South America is Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Antarctica.
