RESERVATION MANAGER

I began working in travel over 12 years ago and haven’t looked back. My passion for exploring has taken me across five continents and I still can’t get enough of it. Just being in an airport is exciting to me as I know it means the start of a new adventure like sailing the Greek Isles, traveling by rail through Rajasthan, or flying to one of the most remote islands on the planet, Rapa Nui. History, culture, and people are the reasons I travel. Year to year, my bucket list changes, my favourite destination changes, my most memorable travel story changes, and I am always wondering where in the world that next plane ride will take me. I have always believed that experiencing the world is an education unto itself; it truly is the journey and not necessarily the destination that fulfills and enlivens us.

My favourite places

  • Udaipur

    Asia

No wonder they call this city the "Venice of India." Surrounded by seven man-made lakes, Udaipur is stunning. From the City Palace overlooking Lake Pichola to the Jagdish Temple in the middle of the town, there's so much to experience. And be sure to check out their famous miniature paintings.

  • Singapore

    Asia

Singapore is a beautiful and dynamic city, caught between tradition and modernity. Must-see highlights are Sentosa Island with beaches and ziplines, Gardens by the Bay (be sure to check out the rainforest and flower domes), Chinatown and the famous street food marketplace, and Church Street for some great shopping.

  • Rapa Nui (Easter Island)

    Central & South America

The moai statues, which are meant to embody the spirits of the leaders, are amazing. While many are in different states of decay, there are also many that are pristine. How did they move them all over this little island? It can't have been an easy task to get them to their final resting spots.

  • Naxos

    UK Europe

I love this little Island. Like most of Greece, Naxos is covered in culture and history. From statues and ruins to drying octopi hanging on lines along the esplanade to the white-washed towns that dot the Island, Naxos is picturesque in so many ways. This is definitely a destination for the explorer.

Did you know?

  • The town of Halki, on Naxos Island, Greece, is the only place that the Greek liquor Kitpon is made.
  • Gardens by the Bay in Singapore is designed to be part of a greater environmentally-sustainable plan.
  • Pavilion Lake in B.C., Canada is under surveillance by NASA because of curious and possibly UFO activity.
  • The Atacama is the driest non-polar desert in the world and, because of this, an optimal place to stargaze.
