HETAL PATEL

UK EUROPE

RESERVATION SUPERVISOR

I'm originally from India, where I studied medicine. I then lived in Tanzania for a few years, where I got a diploma in Travel and Tourism. I then migrated to Canada and was able to join a travel agency as soon as we arrived in the country. After a year of working with a travel agency, I was able to get a job with a commercial airline before eventually joining Goway. I have worked most of my career with commercial airlines, which gave me the opportunity to explore the world. I have been to the U.K, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, India, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Tanzania, and the United States. Singapore and Malaysia are next on the list, with many other places still on my bucket list. I'm very happy to be a part of the Goway team and am sure I will have an opportunity to create wonderful trips across Europe for our clients.

My favourite places

  • Germany

    Europe

I love Europe as there is so much to see and explore. Almost all the cities are connected by train. It's fast and easy to travel around Europe. There is so much natural beauty as well as so much of history. The weather is perfect for exploring the continent between May and September.

  • Switzerland

    Europe

I love the Swiss mountains and the beautiful houses. I've been to Lucerne and Interlaken. I loved Mount Pilatus and Titlis. I also went to Zurich where we enjoyed walking around the city. One of the must-do things in Zurich is to sit down, relax at one of the small coffee shops, and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea.

  • Sri Lanka

    Asia

Sri Lanka has the beauty of South India with smaller crowds. I love everything about Sri Lanka: the mountains, the cleanliness, and, most of all, the food. The food is to die for! Local restaurants have better food than 5-star hotels. People are very warm in Sri Lanka and are always willing to help tourists.

  • United Kingdom

    Europe

The U.K. has so much to offer, including history and natural beauty. I love going to Scotland and staying in old accommodations like castles. I also enjoy London, a globally influencial centre of finance and culture. The country as a whole is centrally located on the world map and it doesn't take long to fly to.
