BIJAL KANA

AFRICA & MIDDLE EAST

RESERVATION SUPERVISOR

My passion for travel was born when I decided to travel around the world after finishing university. Having a Bachelor of Science degree, the travel industry was never something that I thought I would get into. Only after I had gone to 10 countries and spoken passionately about them did I realise where my heart was set. From then on I have never looked back and have wonderful memories of experiencing unique food and flavours and have also gotten my passion for cooking from here. I am now helping my valuable clients plan exceptional and memorable trips that they'll treasure for a lifetime. Originally from Kenya, I’ve travelled to India, the UK, Egypt, Tanzania, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, China, and southern Africa.

My favourite places

  • Taj Mahal

    Asia

One of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj Mahal took 22 years to build and is one of the world’s most symmetrical structures. The white marble and the reflective tiles help the Taj change colours depending on available light. In the early morning, it assumes a shy pinkish hue, which turns to a glowing white as the day rolls on, and turns to burnished golden at night in the moonlight.

  • Maasai Mara

    Africa & Middle East

Maasai Mara is one of the Natural Wonders of the World due to the Great Migration when over a million wildebeest head north across the dangerous Mara River. The Maasai Mara is a place where Maasai warriors share the plains with mighty lions. It's a place of great herds and timeless cycles of life, death, and regeneration.

  • Cape Town

    Africa & Middle East

Lovingly known as the Mother City, Cape Town houses more than 7,000 species of plants found nowhere else in the world. It is also a place where you will find the famous landmark the Castle of Good Hope, the oldest colonial building in South Africa.

  • Dubai

    Africa & Middle East

The word "Dubai" is believed to have been originated from "Daba"—literally meaning a horde of locusts. One of the fastest growing cosmopolitan cities in the world with its gleaming skyscrapers, Dubai can be an all-around destination, whether it is a family vacation or a romantic getaway with loads of activities like skiing or desert thrill safaris.

Did you know?

  • If you are going on a safari, watch your clothing choices. Bright colors (such as whites and blues) can attract wild animals as well as insects. Camouflage clothing is, in some cases, illegal to wear.
  • The best time to see the Great Migration of wildebeest in Kenya is between June and October.
  • Jiggle your body when you hit turbulence to calm down. The movement will counteract that of the aircraft and you won’t feel the turbulence.
  • It is always a good idea to make a travel check list before departure. That way you won't leave anything behind.
