Spaceships are like a good car to drive with more useful features than a campervan. This means that you have the freedom, flexibility and comfort that you can drive up steep hills, on gravel roads and even park in an underground car park with no problems and still enjoy the cooking and sleeping options of a campervan.
The great features that you get with your Spaceships include a dual battery system (so you don’t need a mains plug); an extendable bed with two sleeping options for extra space and ventilation; lockable storage; CD/DVD and MP3 player plus chiller/fridge, stove, and all the essential living equipment. Plus there are unique features such as our Space Stations around the country offering free advice and great deals for Space Travellers, and the special Space Community where you can meet other Space Travellers by swapping DVDs with them and at the Space Stations.

BETA 2 BERTH
A newer model (with an even spacier shape); low mileage, bigger DVD screens, new fridge freezer, new design portable stove, bigger back awning, large side awning and even a portable toilet option!
BETA 4 BERTH
All the benefits of Alpha 2 with an additional double bed on the roof. Best suited to families but can fit four adults if you don't mind being cozy.
The different models all have these key Spaceship features:

- Customized design – seatbelted seating for 3-4 people, dual battery system, fridge/chiller, gas stove, water supply, large double bed that can be extended out the back with an awning for 30% more space and ventilation.

DRIVERS LICENCE
Must have held a valid unrestricted or probationary driver's licence translated into English. The minimum driver’s age is 18 years.
BOND
At the commencement of the rental period, a bond in the amount of NZ$3000 is required and will be deducted from your account in the case that there is damage to the vehicle. Additional charges may apply. If you do not purchase a Bond Reduction Option, the full NZ$3000 (“Excess”) is deducted from your account.
If you purchase the Partial Excess Reduction (NZ$20/day up to a max NZ$800) the excess is reduced to NZ$1500.
If you purchase the All-Inclusive package (NZ$30/day up to a max NZ$1200) the excess is reduced to nil.
The Bond is fully refundable provided no damage has occurred to the Vehicle when it is returned to the correct location at the right time; with a clean interior and the exterior panels clearly visible so any damages can be seen. Spaceships reserve the right to charge a NZ$150 cleaning fee if the vehicle is deemed dirty upon return.
