What currency is used in Indonesia? 

The currency used throughout the country is the Indonesian rupiah. Most vendors in high tourist areas will accept Mastercard or Visa as well. ATMs can be found in most cities in Indonesia.

Do I need a Visa to travel to Indonesia?

A Visa is not required if travelling from Canada or The United States if the duration of the trip is 30 days or less. 

When is the best time to travel to Indonesia?

The best time to visit Indonesia is between May and September when the weather is dry and sunny. 

Is there transportation within Indonesia? 

Indonesia’s main form of transportation within the country is via minibus which is used for local transportation around towns and cities. 

Is Indonesia a family-friendly destination?

Indonesia offers activities that the whole family can enjoy together! Some of these include swimming and snorkelling at beaches, the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary in Ubud and the Turtle Conservation and Education Centre in Denpasar.
