Best Time to Visit Singapore
Singapore is close to the equator so the weather doesn’t vary that much. It can be hot and humid all year round. February through April is a little less hot. November through January is when showers can last for longer periods of time. The hottest months are May and June. January is the coolest month and November is the wettest month. Afternoon showers are common and should be expected. Singapore stays green for one reason – it receives a lot of thundershowers. You will see plenty of locals carrying umbrellas at all times as they are useful for both hot sun and unexpected rain. The average humidity levels typically hover around 80 % and then climb higher after afternoon showers. However, you will find plenty of relief inside air-conditioned cafes, shops, and businesses.
