Best Time to Visit Belgium
The busiest time to visit on a Belgium vacation is in July and August when the weather is at its best. However, April, May, September and October are fine when accommodation and general prices are less expensive and the cities are less crowded. The winter can be cold, wet and damp. Belgium’s climate is, on the whole, moderate with few extremes of temperature. It can rain, mainly showers, anytime. Sidewalk cafes open up their outside tables in the spring until the fall. Some years, though not very often, temperatures are low enough for canals in places like Bruges and Ghent to freeze enough and give the opportunity for ice skaters to enjoy themselves.
