Social Conventions
Casual dress in Denmark is suitable for the most part, however, when going out in the evening, more formal attire may be required. If visiting a Danish home, it is important that guests refrain from drinking until the host or hostess toasts the health of their guests.
Language
The official language of Denmark is Danish, however, much of the population speaks English, German or French.
Religion
The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Denmark is the largest religious denomination in Denmark, with small Roman Catholic and Muslim minorities.
