Your journey begins in the futuristic city of Dubai, which captures the promise and innovation of the 21st more than any other city. Take advantage of the city’s excellent shopping, food, and nightlife in between visits to its landmarks, such as the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. Go on a shopping spree in one of the traditional souks or hit up Dubai Mall, one of the world’s largest malls, for great deals on designer brands. You’ll also explore the surrounding desert on a sunset desert safari. Head into the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve to ride over the dunes lit up by the setting sun. Then enjoy a dinner and belly dance performance in Bedouin tents set up on the sands.
Connect onward to the island of Mauritius and Sofitel Imperial Resort & Spa, where you’ll stay for four nights. You’ll have three full days at leisure to adjust your rhythms to the slow pace of Mauritian life. While away the hours in the shade of a coconut tree or warm yourself on the white-sand beaches. Spend each day pursuing whichever activities you desire, from a catamaran cruise to a snorkelling excursion to coral gardens to an afternoon spent recharging at the resort spa.
