Savanna in Style: Cape Town, Franschhoek and Sabi Sands Game Reserve

Duration
10 Days
Prices From:
AU$ 7,319

DELUXE | TAILOR-MADE: One of the most beautiful nations on Earth, South Africa boasts the spectacular Cape region, some of the world’s finest wines and unparalleled game viewing in its national parks. After enjoying three days in the ‘Mother City’, head to Franschhoek to enjoy some fine South African wine and take in the stunning scenery. Last but certainly not least, head on your African safari in the famous Sabi Sands as you search out the Big 5.

This 10 day journey encompasses the best of South Africa from beautiful Cape Town to an unforgettable safari through Kruger Park.

Cape Town is known as ‘The Mother City’ and goes (almost!) unchallenged as the most beautiful in Africa. Take a cable car up the mountain for peerless views, or wander the waterfront, making time for a ferry ride out to Robben Island, a former political prison that once held Nelson Mandela. With 3 days here, consider a tour of the Cape Peninsula, home not just to a beautiful and dramatic landscape, but much of the wildlife in this region as well, including baboons, seals, ostriches and Great White Sharks.

Go on to Stellenbosch in the heart of South Africa’s Winelands. This is an area famous for its cabernet sauvignon, so a trip around the wineries here is a must.

Flying to Kruger Park, Sabi Sands is a luxurious private game reserve offering exceptional hospitality between your morning and afternoon game drives (when the animals are at their most active). The reserve is an excellent spot for glimpsing the Big 5, and the range of other majestic creatures here guarantees visitors a memorable adventure before transferring to Johannesburg for departure.
