"Colors of Chiang Mai" is a 4-5 hour amazing cycling tour through the Southern part of Chiang Mai. On this tour, partakers will see and learn about the rich cultural background of Chiang Mai. This journey will take us through quiet green land roads and will bring us by the former capital of Lana - which boasts of temples and ruins dating back hundreds of years. Along this cycling adventure we will visit a Chinese temple, the McKean rehabilitation center, a small pottery-making factory, and much more. We will also have the wonderful opportunity to pay a visit to a special school for monks, or an elementary school which is mostly attended by hill tribe children. We will then continue to ride along the Ping River, which showcases Chiang Mai in a different light. From here, our cycling adventure will bring us to several local places, like a candy factory, a local bakery, and other small shops. We will eventually reach a local fresh market, where you can sample some of the most delicious and exotic fruits in the area. During the trip, we will stop every hour to rest and hydrate. Halfway through, we will provide you with a small Thai meal (Kao Soy Kai) in a local restaurant.
