The 'Lakeshore Forest and Bird' guided walk is a unique nature interpretative experience taken at a leisurely pace through native beech forest. Enjoy morning or afternoon tea or coffee on the lakeshore to the sounds of native birdcalls and surrounded by majestic mountains. The track is good but uneven and winds around the lakeshore with the option of a steeper climb to a lookout with magnificent views in all directions. It combines the best of native flora and fauna with magnificent lake and mountain views. Native birds are readily seen and heard, in and around the edges of the forest.

On boarding your luxury coach in Queenstown, travel along the shores of Lake Wakatipu and through the rolling countryside to Te Anau. After a short break, the coach continues along the spectacular alpine route of the Milford Road through impressive, awe-inspiring scenery. There is time for photo stops and short walks along the way. Considered one of the most beautiful drives in the world, experience this journey in luxury and comfort in a 'state of the art' coach. Your friendly coach drivers provide detailed commentaries throughout the trip. Upon arrival at Milford Sound, passengers board the Milford Mariner for the overnight cruise.

Enjoy a full length cruise of the fiord out to the Tasman Sea. The flexible nature of the cruise means there is ample time to look out for wildlife such as seals, penguins and dolphins. The Nature Guide ensures an immersive experience as guests learn all about the history and natural environment of the fiord. Go for a paddle in a kayak, or hop on board a tender craft to explore the fiord up close. The boat will anchor in the shelter of Harrison Cove overnight. This morning following breakfast, there is further cruising before returning to the Milford Wharf for your return transfer to Queenstown by coach.
