MODERATE | CRUISE: A wonderful experience of sailing on your own private catamaran through the turquoise waters of Tahiti. Moor overnight in different locations and enjoy the ability to swim, kayak, snorkel and also do some sightseeing.


Immediately on arrival at Raiatea airport, you are taken to the Tahiti Yacht Charter base to board your private catamaran and have a short briefing about the itinerary. Then set sail for the town of Uturoa, a place to swim, snorkel or perhaps shop. Then sail to Faaroa Bay where you can explore the river in a dinghy with your skipper. The catamaran will moor here for the night.

The next morning, it’s off to Opoa Bayto visit the Marae Taputapuatea, an important Polynesian archaeological site. Later, sail to the Motu Nao Nao, a large sandy island covered with coconut trees and vegetation and have an afternoon of your choice of swimming, kayaking, snorkeling or relaxing. Moor here for the night.

Your final day brings the opportunity to explore the coral garden after which, sail to Motu Mahaea where again you can swim, kayak or snorkel. Later, visit a vanilla plantation to see the process of growing vanilla. Then disembark from your private catamaran at the base.

Day 1

Raiatea

You will be met and welcomed at the Raiatea airport and transferred to the Apooiti Marina, the Tahiti Yacht Charter base. Boarding will be around 1:00PM (or later in the afternoon if desired). You will have a short briefing by your crew and an explanation of your itinerary. Then set sail to the town of Uturoa, where you can do some shopping, visit the bank, internet cafe or take part in some nautical activities (swimming or snorkeling) close to the islet. Then sail onto Faaroa Bay where you will explore the river by dinghy with your skipper. Dinner will be served on board and the catamaran will be moored for overnight.

Day 2

Raiatea

Wake up this morning to a continental breakfast aboard your catamaran. Then sail to Opoa Bay and visit the Marae Taputapuatea which is considered the departure point of the Polynesian migration and an UNESCO World Heritage site. Afterwards, board the catamaran to navigate towards the Motu Nao Nao and enjoy lunch onboard. This afternoon, enjoy kayaking, swimming and snorkeling, rays are often seen in this area. Dinner onboard tonight and overnight mooring.

Day 3

Taha'a

After breakfast, sail to Apu Bay where you will visit a black pearl farm. Here you will have the opportunity to purchase your own Tahitian black pearl directly from the producer. After the pearl farm visit, board the catamaran and sail towards the Motu Tau Tau. Tonight if the weather allows, you will have a view of the sunset overlooking Bora Bora. Dinner onboard tonight and overnight mooring.

Day 4

Taha'a

After your last breakfast, you will have the opportunity to explore the coral garden with your guide, your skipper. Then set sail for Motu Mahaea, where you can kayak, swim or snorkel. Next is a visit to the vanilla plantation (what Taha'a is famous for) to see the process in which vanilla is grown. You may choose to buy some vanilla to take home. After the plantation visit, disembark the catamaran by 1:00PM at the Tahiti Yacht Charter base.
