8.30am Your informative and knowledgeable guide will collect you from your Sydney hotel as we commence our private journey of Sydney city, the Eastern Suburbs and little visited picturesque Northern Beaches.
We begin in the Sydney old town (The Rocks) and CBD (Central Business District) for you to learn about the settling of Sydney, colonial convict history and the modern financially focussed skyscrapers. We visit Macquarie St and Mrs Macquarie's Chair where some of Sydney's most historic sites and buildings are located as well as prime views of Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge.
We journey around the southern shores, bays and coves of Sydney Harbour for breath-taking views over one of the most beautiful natural harbours in the world. We take a break at Watsons Bay and The Gap at the entrance of Sydney Harbour - one of the most captivating Panoramic Views in Sydney. Here we offer a morning tea, coffee or hot chocolate with Tim Tams at this stunning harbour-side location.
Then travelling through Dover Heights, we move on to the famous Bondi Beach where guests can enjoy a stroll along the beach promenade and see bronzed Aussie lifesavers.
From Bondi we move back towards the city via Paddington, Darlinghurst, China-Town and Darling Harbour and then we escape the hustle and bustle of Sydney city and cross Sydney Harbour Bridge to travel through picturesque Northern Suburbs.
Arriving via the lushly forested Wakehurst Parkway to the Northern Beaches region we join the coast at Warriewood Headland for stunning views. Driving on we see Narrabeen and Collaroy Beaches and pass Long Reef links golf course on route to Dee Why Beach and our restaurant for lunch. Here, with stunning beach views, we enjoy a delicious 2 course lunch of your choice off the menu, accompanied by a glass of beer, wine or soft drink.
Next, we tour via Curl Curl and Manly beaches to pause at North Head for stunning views back across the Sydney harbour entrance to Sydney city.
Then on to Manly Cove and back to the city via Spit Bridge, Balmoral Beach and back roads through the exclusive and quaint north shore suburbs of Mosman, Cremorne and Neutral Bay.
Crossing Sydney Harbour Bridge, we arrive back in the city for approximately 4:00PM
