Andalusia & Toledo Getaway: Madrid to Madrid with Air

Duration
7 Days
Prices From:
AU$ On Request

Explore Madrid, discovering everything from the Royal Palace and Prado Museum to its modern architecture and skyscrapers. Then, join a fully guided escorted coach tour to Andalusia and Toledo where cultures intertwine and converge, visiting Seville, Cordoba, and Granada.

This 7-day, air-inclusive trip to Spain includes return flights to Madrid, with first class accommodation and fully escorted touring through historic Toledo, Cordoba, Seville, and Granada, home of the astonishing Alhambra palace complex.

Arrive in Madrid for two nights exploring Spain’s energetic capital city. A 1-day Hop-on, Hop-off bus pass helps you get the most out of the city’s sights, whether it’s essential favourites like the Royal Palace, Prado Museum, and Retiro Park, or lesser known treasures like the city’s Archeology Museum, the modern art filled Reina Sofia, and the Templo de Debod, rescued from the rising Nile during the construction of the Aswan Dam.

Set off for Seville, stopping along the way in Cordoba. You’ll have time to explore the famous Mezquita Mosque, and the city’s atmospheric Jewish Quarter before your bus takes you on to Seville. Without doubt one of the most energetic cities in Spain, Seville captures Andalusia at its most romantic and evocative. A city tour helps you get your bearings before giving you time to explore the awesome Alcazar palace, Seville cathedral (second only to Rome’s St Peters in size), and the photogenic Plaza de Espana.

The following day takes you to Granada, the last stronghold of the Moorish Kingdoms, where you’ll visit the Alhambra, held by many to be the most beautiful and impressive palace complex in Europe. In the evening, you can take in a Gypsy Flamenco show in the Sacromente neighbourhood. You’ll return the next day to Madrid, but not before taking a tour of Toledo, a former capital and hub of Spanish history.
