Enjoy an exceptional stay at this luxury historic hotel near the Piazza San Marco in the heart of Venice housed in a former magnificent aristocratic Venetian palace, your home for the next 4 nights.

During you time here, you will have interesting privately guided tours. The first will be a walking tour of Venice including stops at St. Mark’s Square with its wonderful basilica, the Doges Palace, a major landmark built in Venetian Gothic style, the iconic Bridge of Sighs, Marco Polo’s house, an old merchant’s warehouse, the lively Campo Santa Maria Formosa with its outstanding Gothic Palaces, the Church of San Giovanni e Paolo "the Pantheon of Venice” and the Rialto Bridge, the oldest bridge spanning the Grand Canal.

In the evening, enjoy a half hour ride on a gondola through Venice’s network of canals including the Grand Canal.

The next day is a tour to Murano and Burano by private boat. Travel past the island of San Giorgio Maggiore with its 16th Century basilica, the Public Gardens, a large Venetian park and the island of Sant’ Elena. On arrival at Murano, visit a glass factory for a demonstration of glass blowing. Then continue to Burano famous for its lace making and also its fishermen’s brightly painted houses. In the afternoon, enjoy a visit to the Rialto district known for its food and market shopping and stop at a 'bacaro' (wine bar), a favourite meeting place for all Venetians. Naturally sample some wines. 

The following morning brings a tour to the city of Verona with its Piazza Bra, one of the largest squares in the country lined with numerous cafés and restaurants, along with several notable buildings including the Verona Arena, originally an amphitheatre built nearly 2000 years ago and now a world-famous music venue for opera and concerts. Take in Juliet’s house (of Romeo and Juliet connection) and spend time visiting the excellent shops here. Then it’s on to the Valpolicella region stopping at the 13th Century Church of San Giorgio with its splendid altar. From here you will have panoramic views of the town of Simione on Lake Garda. Later enjoy a wine tasting of some local wines such as Amarone and Recioto della Valpolicella.

Gently guide on this traditional means of aquatic travel along the Venetian Grand Canal, passing the many landmarks and sites that have made Venice a global tourist hub. Murano and Burano Private Tour

Enjoy a guided 4 hour private tour to Murano and Burano on your own private boat with an English speaking guide. Take in the sights as you sail past the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, the Public Gardens, the tip of Sant'Elena and the famous Arsenal of the Venetian Republic. The first stop on your tour is Murano, known throughout the world for its glass manufacturing industry. Here we stop to visit to one of the most famous and ancient glass factories, where you will enjoy a live glass blowing demonstration performed by a Maestro Glass Maker. The second stop is at the picturesque island of Burano, famous not only for its lace but also for the fishermen's houses painted in bright colors. Relax and enjoy a coffee before your tour guide will bring you back to your hotel or to Venice Centre.

Classical Concert in Venice

This is how, in 1987, the Interpreti Veneziani made their debut, immediately gaining a reputation for the youthful exuberance and all-Italian brio characterising their performances. The talent of the members of this group, their expertise as soloists and ensemble musicians and the high level of their performances have earned the Interpreti an enthusiastic welcome from both audiences and critics. Their important achievements include appearances in the Melbourne Festival, in the Bayruth Festival and concerts at Stockholms Royal Palace, participation in the World Vision telemarathon at the Kirov Theatre to mark the reinstatement of the name St. Petersburg, a concert at the Osaka Symphony Hall in live broadcast for Japanese radio, concerts at the Tokyo Suntory Hall and Kjoi Hall and appearances in glamorous concert seasons such as those of Sapporo and Yokohama during five tours in Japan. For the last 23 years, the Interpreti Veneziani have performed their own season consisting of more than 300 concerts.
