This 5-day Switzerland vacation takes you aboard the Glacier Express to picturesque alpine destinations like St. Mortiz, Zermatt, and Interlaken.
Your trip to Switzerland begins in Zurich, the centre of Switzerland’s financial industry. Head to the Zurich train station to board the train and journey to your first destination, St. Moritz, a luxury resort town near Albula Gorge. The next day, board the famous Glacier Express, which will take you throughout the Swiss Alps and showcase the majesty of the landscape. As you ride high throughout the mountains, you’ll be treated to views of snow-capped peaks, dense forests, and surging waterfalls through the train’s panoramic windows.
Disembark in Zermatt, a gorgeous resort perched in the shadow of the Matterhorn, Europe’s most famous mountain. Stroll along the main street, Bahnhofstrasse, to pick up some souvenirs in the boutique shops and take a hike in the nearby hills. That afternoon, head by train to Interlaken to see its old timber houses and admire the gorgeous surroundings of alpine lakes and towering mountains. Board a cogwheel train and continue to Jungfraujoch, the highest train station in Europe. After exploring its picturesque winter landscape, return to Interlaken and ride the Brunig Express back to Zurich, passing by three breathtaking lakes as your farewell views of the Alps.

Zurich - St. Moritz
Transfer to the train station in Zurich. Travel by train to Chur and transfer to the famous red train to St. Moritz, travelling through the spectacular Albula gorge. Arrival in St. Moritz and transfer to the hotel.
Glacier Express: St. Moritz - Zermatt
After breakfast you'll board the famous Glacier Express. In the comfortable panorama car you'll enjoy spectacular views of the Swiss Alps, dense forests, snow-capped peaks, spectacular waterfalls, mountains and historic villages. Arrival at Zermatt, at the foot of Mount Matterhorn.
Zermatt - Interlaken
The morning is free to explore Zermatt at your leisure. In the afternoon you travel by train to the city of Interlaken.
Train to Jungfrau
A cogwheel train takes you to Jungfraujoch, the "Top of Europe", Europe's highest train station, at an elevation of 3.444 m. A year-round winter wonderland of snow and ice and spectacular Alpine views await visitors for an unforgettable experience! Return to Interlaken.
Interlaken - Zurich
The morning is free to spend at your leisure. Around noon you'll board the Brünig Express to Lucerne. This route takes you along three gorgeous lakes. Return to Zurich.
