The gem of Minsk is the neighbourhood called Trinity Square. This old town area offers cozy little streets and colourful tiled-roof houses. The National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus contains a rich collection of art with over 30, 000 exhibits. The National Museum of History and Culture of Belarus has amazingly 377,000 exhibits including books, coins, weapons, musical instruments, jewellery and clothes. The Museum of the Great Patriotic War reflects the recent history of the Nazi occupation. A rather strange venue which can be visited is the former residence of Lee Harvey Oswald who lived here prior to his infamous return to the United States.
