Tampa is known for being a great city for all ages and tastes. Tampa Bay’s beaches are some of the best in the country with miles of fine white sand however, Tampa’s major attractions lie in its city life. There is no shortage of things to do in Tampa, whether it's paddling along the Hillsborough River, getting up close with exotic wildlife, riding a mega coaster or attending an opera.

For sports fans, baseball spring training in Tampa is an American ritual. Visitors flock to see the Yankees play spring training games. Signing up for Yankee Fantasy Camp can be the thrill of a lifetime for the die-hard fan.

For a bit of history, take a tour of Ybor City where the smell of cigars wafts along with the strong aroma of roasting coffee. Created around the Cuba cigar-rolling industry in the late 1800’s it is now the west coast’s most culturally eclectic quarter. The tiny Jose Marti park is actually owned by the Cuban government.

Busch Gardens is an African-themed amusement park with ten roller coasters and a 300-acre animal habitat that entertains and educates visitors of all ages. There are also plenty of water and terra firma inhabitants to visit at Zoo Tampa, Giraffe Ranch and the Florida Aquarium. Wondering through Tampa Riverwalk, a 2.6-mile pedestrian trail, is a great way to be in the city but feel like being in nature. This revitalized waterfront combines innovative restaurants, breweries, shops, museums and outdoor activities.

Not to be missed is the Chihuly Collection of Dale Chihuly’s spectacular glass sculptures and installations or the Dali Museum which curates the most comprehensive collection of Dali’s works in the world.
