Goway Offers New Greenland Cruises with Departures in 2020

Greenland isn’t for sale, but new Greenland cruises from Goway offer an unforgettable adventure for serious globetrotters.

Greenland is not for sale, but curious globetrotters can visit and enjoy Europe’s largest island in all its splendour with Goway Travel. Bookings are now being taken for the 2020 cruise season, and passengers are advised to book early as space is strictly limited.

Newly part of Goway’s extensive Polar Voyages range, two Greenland cruises invite nature lovers to visit one of the north’s great frontiers. The 12-day Iceland and the Natural Wonders of Greenland cruise invites travellers to set sail from Reykjavik in neighbouring Iceland. They enjoy a cheeky stop on the island of Vestmannaeyjar before crossing the Denmark Strait to Prins Christian Sound, the first taste of Greenland’s jaw-dropping geography. See the Fjords, colourful towns, bays, and glaciers that shape Greenland’s west coast, including its small but lively capital, Nuuk. Another highlight is Illulissat, famous for beautiful Disko Bay and the Sermeq Kujalleq glacier.

Passengers can also visit Greenland’s rarely explored east coast on Goway’s Three Arctic Islands cruise. This 15-day itinerary flies from Oslo, Norway to Spitsbergen, a Norwegian island territory where passengers board their cruise. They then sail down Greenland’s remote east coast to Scoresbysund. Where there are few settlements, wildlife thrives! Scoresbysund is home to some of the world’s most beautiful fjord systems, and Zodiac boats take passengers in for a closer look. The cruise finally drops anchor at the popular Icelandic cities of Akureyri and Reykjavik, where passengers disembark.

Travelling to one of the world’s most remote destinations, Greenland tours sell out quickly and are best booked well in advance. Goway’s Iceland and the Natural Wonders of Greenland departs August 9, 2020 from Reykjavik, then follows the reverse itinerary, departing August 20, 2020. Goway’s Three Arctic Islands cruise departs aboard the World Explorer on August 11, 2020 and September 6, 2020.
