Goway says G’day to Africa: Unmasking the World’s Most Mysterious Continent

25 African travel specialists will converge on locations across Canada in September for Goway Travel’s annual G’Day to Africa travel expo. Whether it’s a safari through the savannah, a flight over the Kalahari or a romantic rail journey across the continent, Africa offers countless options to thrill the adventurous Globetrotter. Yet this often life-changing destination remains off the radar for many travellers, who dismiss it as too difficult, expensive or even dangerous.
Together with Africa experts from across the industry, Goway’s G’Day to Africa will visit Vancouver, Edmonton and Toronto, giving curious Globetrotters the chance to ask questions, get professional advice and gain the knowledge they need to explore Africa with confidence.
There’s also a trip to South Africa to be won, giving one lucky attendee the chance to experience this beautiful country in person! As the continent opens its arms to more visitors, now is the time to go. In South Africa alone, North American tourist arrivals increased by almost 14% in 2012.
All events will feature a 90 minute free flow session from 6pm, allowing both travel agents and the public to learn more about destinations and travel options throughout Southern and Eastern Africa. This is followed by a one hour in-depth presentation with Africa travel experts.
