Best Time to Visit Mozambique
Mozambique has a tropical climate with two basic seasons. The wet season is from December to April and the dry season is from May to November. In the wet season, along the coast, the rainfall is heavy and prolonged. So, the best time when temperatures are cooler and it is dry is May to October. January and February, this is not good time to visit southern Mozambique as it is the cyclone season. The south is generally much drier than the north. The beaches on both the Bazaruto and Quirimbas archipelagos are wonderful throughout the dry season. For game viewing, August to November is the best months.
