MARIELLE MANTELE

UK EUROPE

DESTINATION SPECIALIST

After I realized that I wanted to be in the travel industry, I studied Travel & Tourism and obtained a diploma. I have been in the travel Industry since 2009. I have worked and gained experiences in several areas. I have managed quite a few departments: air, groups, and FIT with a wholesale tour operator. I covered mostly all destinations with my previous work experience. I was also a travel agent for a couple of years, which I truly enjoyed doing. Dealing with both direct clients and travel agents, I have learned to understand both sides. I love planning vacations and finding out all the bits and pieces to make it the best experience ever. Experiencing and collecting memories is far more important than collecting material things. Visiting new and different destinations gives me a sense of contentment.

My favourite places

  • Tokyo

    Asia

Tokyo is the biggest city in Japan in terms of population and area. The shinkansen, also known as the bullet train, is an alternative to flying that generally takes no longer than a flight. Getting around by train is easy and very convenient. If you love sushi and sashimi like I do, this place will be heaven for you.

  • Rome

    Europe

Discover the greatness of Rome, from the coolest architecture on display, ancient ruins like the Colosseum, the Vatican City, museums, the famous Trevi Fountain, and much more. If you are a foodie, you're in for a treat! Experience everything hand made, using just the freshest ingredients you can ever find.

  • Maui

    Islands

Maui is comprised of two major volcanic areas: the West Maui Mountains and a very expansive volcano called Haleakala on the eastern side, which gets snow every year. Maui features an abundance of amazing beaches. Snorkelling the Molokini Crater is a must. Stop by the Old Lahaina and check out the art galleries.

  • Paris

    Europe

Paris, also know as the City of Light, is such a beautiful and romantic city. The sky's the limit for whatever it is you are in the mood for when visitng. From the amazing architecture, museums, cathedrals, monuments, and flea markets to sidewalk cafes, elegant cuisine, and of course shopping!

Did you know?

  • "Travelling is not something you are good at. It is something you do. Like breathing." – Gayle Foreman
  • The Hawaiian volcanoes, Mauna Loa, Mauna Kea, and Haleakala, get dusted with snow a few times a year.
  • You have to shower naked before entering the Blue Lagoon waters. Employees ensure this rule is followed.
  • Every night at the Trevi Fountain, about 3,000 euros are swept up from the bottom. The money gets donated.
