PAULA WILLIAMSON

AUSTRALIA & SOUTH PACIFIC

DESTINATION SPECIALIST

I have done self-drive itineraries and taken escorted tours throughout New Zealand & Australia. I've done fly-in trips, rented a motorhome, and experienced the landscape by train. I have also travelled to Rarotonga and Aitutaki in the Cook Islands, done a Blue Lagoon cruise in Fiji, stayed in an overwater bungalow on Bora Bora, and spent time in Tonga. With a passion for this part of the world, I have focused my entire business on this area and therefore have knowledge of not just the sights, but the weather, the best times to visit, how long to spend, and the must-sees and dos. I thrive on putting together dream vacations and experiences for my clients in this fantastic region of the world.

My favourite places

  • Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora

Taking in the spectacular Bora Bora scenery while staying in an Overwater Bungalow is an absolute must. An Island Hopper vacation in Tahiti is a wonderful way to refresh your spirit and experience the incredible colours of the water.

  • Perth

I love Western Australia and highly recommend a self-drive vacation along the stunning coastline. Ningaloo Reef and the Coral Bay area with Monkey Mia and the Dolphins are just some of the wonderful experiences of this area.

  • Sydney

Sydney is such a cosmopolitan hub with spectacular scenery. The Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge are just two of the many attractions available to a visitor. I love the Rocks market on the weekend, the ferry to Manly with fish and chips on the beach, and day trips out to the Blue Mountains and the Hunter Valley.

  • New Zealand

New Zealand has mountains, lakes, fjords, beaches and spectacular scenery. There is so much variety in both the North and South Islands. Queenstown and Milford Sound are particular highlights for me. There are amazing hikes and treks, train journeys, and many self-drive opportunities in New Zealand.

Did you know?

  • Always book far ahead for the Indian Pacific and the Ghan Rail Journeys in Australia as they book out fast.
  • Australia's Southern Hemisphere location means the seasons are very different compared to North America.
  • The official language of Tahiti is French. English, however, is spoken in most establishments throughout.
  • The New Zealand Kea, the world's only alpine parrot has recently been heralded as the world's smartest bird.
