The Selous is home to roaming elephant populations and some of the last black rhino left in the region. Due to its remote location, it is one of the untouched gems of Tanzania’s parks.
Africa’s largest protected wildlife reserve, Selous may not be as widely known as the Serengeti, but it offers one of the continent’s highest densities of majestic wildlife. This 4 day safari adventure includes all meals, with guided game drives taking you to see giraffes, the Big 5, hippos, African wild dogs and one of the world’s largest elephant populations.

Arrive Nyerere (Selous) National Park
Early this morning, board your flight from Dar Es Salaam Airport (departing approximately 7:15 am) to the Nyerere (Selous) National Park. Upon arrival at the airstrip, you will be met and transferred to your camp in time for lunch. Later this afternoon, begin exploring this wonderful park as you depart on your first game activity. Activities included in your stay are; game drives, guided game walks and boat excursions (water levels permitting).

Departure
This morning, enjoy breakfast at your lodge before check out. Transfer back to the airstrip in time for your onward flight to Dar Es Salaam departing at approximately 9:45 am. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to a local restaurant for lunch before returning to the airport for your onward flight.
