Your journey to Malta takes you to a hotel on St. George’s Bay in St. Julian’s. Spend several days exploring the historical landmarks of this ancient nation with a diverse cultural heritage. One day, explore the “Silent City” of Mdina on a private tour, learning how this once bustling city got its name after being virtually deserted upon the formation of Valletta. Enjoy stunning views of the rest of the island as you walk along its Baroque bastions. Continue to Rabat to see St. Paul’s Catacombs and explore the subterranean world of the island before swinging by the Grotto and the highest point on the island, the Dingli Cliffs, before finally reaching the Parish Church of Mosta, where an unexploded bomb from World War II still remains inside the church. Another day, explore the sister island of Gozo to see the ancient temple sites of Ggantija or the Place of Giants, some of the oldest prehistoric temples in the world. You’ll also have a chance to see Dwejra, where the famous Azure Window used to be, and the Cittadella of Victoria. The rest of your time in Malta is at leisure. Hit the beach, go shopping in the capital, Valletta, or explore quiet fishing villages along the coast.
At the end of your stay, connect to the airport to return home.

Mdina the 'Silent City', Rabat and Mosta Private Tour
Your private tour today will take you to the old capital of Malta - Mdina, which is located in the central part of the island. This ancient city is also known as the "Silent City" - its foundations go back to prehistoric times and witnessed Malta's major historical events because of it's strategic position on one of the land's highest plateaus. During your walk in the silent city, you will have the opportunity to visit the Mdina Cathedral (optional) and the imposing bastions allowing you to admire a panoramic view of most of the island. In the afternoon, take a short walk around the narrow winding roads leading to the area of St Paul's Catacombs and Grotto where you will have the option to visit the catacombs. On leaving Rabat, the tour heads to the Dingli Cliffs for the final excursion - the impressive dome of Mosta's Parish Church located in Mosta (from the outside). This church still hosts a bomb which did not explode during World Word II.

Full Day Taste of Gozo Private Tour
Today you will start the day early in order to visit Malta's sister island of Gozo. Gozo, is barely 20 minutes away from the mainland and offers a unique Mediterranean setting. It is an island where time has stood still, where traditions and customs form part of the daily life of the Islanders. It offers beautiful scenic views as most of the population still follow their forefathers trades of farmers and fishermen. During this excursion, visit the Temples of Ggantija or Place of Giants (optional), which is the only major prehistoric site on the Island of Gozo. The temple is among the oldest and best preserved in the world. You will also visit the inland sea in Dwejra, Ta' Pinu Church, Xlendi Bay and the Citadella in Victoria. Free time for shopping will also be given as Gozo is well known for its woolen goods and handmade lace.
