The people of Slovakia can be quite private, but they are also very welcoming and polite. Being on time is very important, and shaking hands is the common greeting.
Religion
The majority of the population of Slovakia identifies as Roman Catholic with Protestant, Reformed, Lutheran, Methodist, Baptist, Jewish, and Greek Orthodox minorities.
Language
The official language is Slovak, however, there are also Hungarian, Ukrainian, Ruthenian, and German speakers.
