This 7-day Italian vacation takes you to Rome and Florence to experience their culinary delights. It features first-class accommodations, shared and private tours, and is ideal for foodie travellers.

Your journey begins in Rome, the Italian capital, where you’ll delve into the secrets of Roman cuisine while touring some of the beautiful sights. One day, you’ll join a teaching chef to head to the Campo de’Fiori market and gather ingredients for your cooking lesson. You’ll then head to the kitchen to learn to make homemade pasta such as ravioli and fettuccine, and enjoy a delicious meal after your hard work. The next day, head off the beaten path into bohemian Trastevere and sample some of the city’s culinary delicacies in the company of an expert chef. You’ll pay another visit to the Campo de’Fiori and finish off the day with fresh pasta and local wine.

From Rome, ride the train to Florence, where you’ll be based for the next two days. One day, head on a small group tour through the Tuscan countryside. You’ll head on a walking tour of medieval Siena, where you’ll visit the Piazza del Campo, home to the Palio horse race each year, and stroll through some of the city’s 17 medieval districts. Continue on to San Gimignano to see the high medieval walls and narrow streets of this stunning town. Cap off the day in the Chianti countryside and dine on Tuscan delicacies while sampling local wines. The next day, join a truffle hunter for a private tour all about truffles. You’ll head to San Giovanni d’Asso and head on a truffle hunt outside of town. Cap off the tour with lunch and then explore the old streets of San Giovanni d’Asso before returning Florence.

At the end of your stay, you’ll head to the airport to continue to your next destination or connect back home.
