Best Time to Visit the Seychelles
The Seychelles has a tropical climate so it is a year-round destination. However, some months are better than others. There are two opposing trade winds which affect the weather. The north-westerly winds blow from October to March bringing warm and humid weather and the south-easterly blow from May to September which brings cooler weather. The island is wind-free in April and most of October. For swimming, the best months are April/May and October/November. Temperatures all year round are consistent and there are no extremes of heat or cold.
The low season is recognized as June and September when hotel rates are lower than the high season which is December to March and July and August.
